About Don MoutonI began as a financial advisor with Merrill Lynch in 1989, later earned an MBA and JD, and practiced business & securities law before joining UBS Financial Services in 2004 and RiverStone Wealth Management as Vice President in 2010. In 2013 I formed my own investment firm, Mouton Wealth Management. As such, my experience with the financial markets, both as a financial advisor and attorney, spans 35 years. Since 2012, I have been recognized eleven times in Texas Monthly Magazine and once in The Wall Street Journal as a Five Star Wealth Manager*, an award granted to fewer than 7% of financial advisors in Texas. *Five Star Disclosure – Five Star Professional, a third‐party research firm, identified pre‐qualified award candidates based on industry data and nominations it may have received from various industry firms and individuals in the surrounding area of the candidate.
